Seven chandeliers hang above a 3,600 sq ft open floor, with one central statement piece that stops guests mid-sentence. Six 75-inch screens run your custom branding before anyone sits down. The bar is set. The DJ booth is built in. The prep kitchen is ready for your caterer. A dedicated 300 sq ft VIP room sits off the main floor for whoever needs their own space — the bridal party, the guest of honour, the executive breakout.

Before you book Dream.

What types of events work best at Dream?+

Weddings and receptions, milestone birthdays, quinceñeras, baby and bridal showers, bar and bat mitzvahs, corporate events and galas, product launches, film and photo shoots, and private celebrations of all kinds. Dream is particularly well-suited for events with a production component — presentations, live music, custom screen branding, or a DJ.

Is the AV and screen branding really included, or is it an add-on?+

Fully included. The six 75-inch screens, professional sound system, custom lighting package, and built-in DJ booth are all part of your venue rental. You are not renting AV separately or waiting for equipment to arrive. It is already in the room.

Can I bring my own caterer?+

Yes — Dream has a full prep kitchen and you can bring any licensed caterer you choose. For beverages, Dream works with a preferred vendor network only. No outside alcohol is permitted on the premises.

What is included in the space reservation fee?+

Venue use for your agreed hours, luxury ghost chairs and tables (round or banquet), lounge furniture, seven chandeliers, six 75-inch screens with custom branding, professional sound and lighting, DJ booth, VIP room, full prep kitchen, WiFi, and a dedicated event coordinator. Catering and bar are priced separately.

How far in advance should I book?+

Weekend evenings fill two to three months ahead, particularly September through December. Weekday and daytime events are often available with two to four weeks of lead time. The earlier you reach out, the more flexibility you have on date and time.

Can I see the venue before I book?+

Yes. Site visits are available by appointment. Tell us your date and guest count and we will arrange a time that works.

Is parking available for guests?+

Several public parking garages sit within two blocks of 1524 Powell St. Street parking is available but limited on weekends. Dream is accessible by Muni and cable car, and rideshare drop-off on Powell Street is reliable.
