Hatch has been doing this downtown for seven years — through all of it, including the years nobody came to the office. They never stopped refining the food. When the rest of DTLA was doing sandwich platters and bagged chips, AK and John were perfecting their yakitori program and figuring out how to bring it to your building.
The format is Japanese tapas: a journey through flavors, not a cafeteria line. Charcoal-grilled skewers, crispy karaage, avocado tuna toast, miso beer spare ribs, wagyu, unagi. You don't choose a protein and two sides. You let the food surprise your team.
Every order is built around five to seven bites per person — enough variety to feel like a real meal, curated by people who've done this thousands of times. When it arrives at your office, the reaction is the same every time: "Oh my god. This is great."

The easiest upgrade you'll make to your team's week. Place an order, we build the menu around your headcount and preferences using the 5–7 bites per person framework, and it arrives ready to go. Yakitori trays, platters, sides, dessert. No servers required. Available morning, lunch, and happy hour windows across DTLA.
On-Site Event or Buyout
Book the patio, the back half, or the full restaurant. Cocktail-style standing events up to around 100 guests, or seated dinners for groups up to 20–30. Hatch handles the kitchen; your team handles showing up. Bring your own cake, connect to Chromecast, and stay as long as the night calls for it.
