Guilford Hall
A working craft brewery in Baltimore’s restored 1898 Crown Cork & Seal factory, with Crown Hall for 200 at dinner and smaller rooms for 22 to 100.
Check your date See what it costsGuilford Hall is a craft brewery and event hall inside Baltimore’s restored 1898 Crown Cork & Seal factory: 20,000 square feet of brick, beams and brewing in the Station North Arts District, ten minutes from the Inner Harbor.
Crown Hall is the room I would build an event around. It sits on the second floor, with thirty-foot ceilings, exposed brick, wooden floors, tall arched windows and rings of custom metal chandeliers, and it looks finished before a single flower arrives. Ali M., who held her wedding reception there, called it “the true gem of the building,” and I agree with her.
The smaller rooms hold their own at their scale. My favorite is the Whiskey Lounge, with leather seating and a speakeasy-style bar of its own, the natural home for welcome drinks or a client reception for 50. The Painters Room seats 22 at one long table under crystal chandeliers, which is exactly what a rehearsal dinner wants.
The restoration shows in the details. As one Yelp reviewer, Dan C., noticed, “much of the old wooden floors have been repurposed as doors and tables.” Dinner is served on a piece of the factory’s history.
The brewery is part of the program rather than the theme. Guilford can brew a beer for your event and open with a tour of the brewhouse, while one in-house team handles the food, the bar and the room. That is the thing couples mention most after the architecture. Kiki B. summed up her wedding weekend in one line: “We did it all in one place, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception.”
One factory, four rooms and a courtyard
Each space books on its own, and they combine for a full-building event of up to 400. Hosts who use two or three of them get the best of the building: cocktails downstairs or outside, then dinner and dancing upstairs.

Crown Hall
The second-floor event hall: thirty-foot ceilings, exposed brick, wooden floors, arched windows, custom metal chandeliers and a 22-foot LED screen for the program, with its own bar, private restrooms and elevator access. For dinner with dancing, plan on 160.
The room for weddings, galas and company dinners

The Whiskey Lounge
Leather chairs, low light and a speakeasy-style bar with its own bartender. It suits a wedding welcome party, and it works as well for a client reception, a milestone birthday or the after-dinner chapter of a wedding.
Cocktail style

The Painters Room
One long family-style table, golden mirrors and crystal chandeliers. Rehearsal dinners, executive dinners and family celebrations where everyone sits together.
Private dining

The Biergarten
The outdoor courtyard, with string flags, long tables, heaters and a seasonal tent, plus outdoor alcoves that make an easy second bar. A ceremony, a welcome reception or the relaxed part of a company day, with Crown Hall upstairs at the same address.
Heaters and seating included

The whole building
Crown Hall, the lounges, the Biergarten and the restaurant floor together, for a gala, a launch or a wedding weekend that moves from room to room. The restaurant stays open during smaller events, so ask for the full buyout when you want the building to yourselves.
Full-building buyouts quoted by date
What an event here costs
Guilford prices events around the room, the date, the guest count and the menu, and food, drink, rentals and the room come from one team, so the quote arrives as one number rather than five vendors.

| Crown Hall, lounges and Biergarten | quoted by date | menu and guest count |

How a company evening can run
Say you are hosting 180 for an awards dinner. Guests arrive to a brewhouse tour and a beer brewed for the night, sit down to a plated European-style dinner in Crown Hall with the program on the LED screen, and finish in the Whiskey Lounge. One team runs every part of it.
Good to know
September, October and December carry seasonal pricing. Summer dates and weeknights give you the widest choice of rooms at the standard rate.

Why people choose Guilford Hall
Weddings come first in the reviews, and they say the same three things. The second floor is the showpiece. Doing the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception in one building makes the day easy. And the staff go beyond serving: hosts describe them helping with decorating and setup so the room looked the way they pictured it, and keeping the bar line short all night.
The food gets as much praise as the room. Guests at one wedding welcome party snacked on pizza, pretzels and truffle fries in the Whiskey Lounge and Biergarten, and one couple credits the chef with “a fantastic menu” for their wedding.
Corporate galas, product launches, panels and holiday parties book Crown Hall too, and the smaller rooms take rehearsal dinners, showers, anniversaries and milestone birthdays. What every host is after is a Baltimore setting with real character that still runs like a professional event.
When to book, and which seasons fill first
Fall and spring are the busiest seasons for weddings and company events, and Saturdays in Crown Hall are the first dates to be reserved. If your date is set, lead with it. If it is flexible, summer and weeknights give you the widest choice of rooms.
Smaller events in the Whiskey Lounge and the Painters Room plan comfortably on a shorter timeline. Send the date, the headcount and the occasion together, and the team will come back with what is open and what it costs.
