The venue

Fig Tree
431 Ocean Front Walk, Venice Beach
Family run since 1978, with a California Latin kitchen and bar in house. Groups take a corner of the patio, Cueva or the whole restaurant, with the Pacific in front. Hours run 8am to 8:30pm, 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and stay flexible at either end for events.
When teams book
There's no wrong time to book. Teams settle their celebrations at every point in the year, and each approach works.
Some teams book every offsite, meeting and celebration for the rest of the financial year in one go, so the holiday party is settled before summer.
August and September give the most Friday and Saturday dates to choose from for a December party.
Teams that are busiest in November and December celebrate in January or February, when Fig Tree’s minimums return to their usual rates.
